This includes structural steel and reinforced concrete drawings for buildings, equipment supports and foundations, substation structures/foundations, pipe racks, pipe supports and other miscellaneous structures.   Responsibilities:   - Two (2) weeks on rotation at site with two (2) week off - Utilize AutoCAD for design drawings - Application of of 3D software such as Revit or MicroStation or CADWorx or AutoCad Inventor will be considered an asset - During rotations at site, liase with client representatives and understand scope of work - Prepare conceptual and detailed CAD drawings after determining scope of work in field and with help from Engineers - Ability to take off quantities from drawings/ 3D models - Prepare drawings in compliance with client CAD standards - Willingness to work occasionally from home (on time off rotation) when required by client - Coordinating with other designers and work with external reference files in CAD environment - Work in a multi-disciplinary environment and co-operate with other team members

Wood’s Consulting business is growing and we are searching for a Senior Admin / Operations Coordinator to support the Calgary, AB office.  The successful candidate would assist the Operations Manager to coordinate the successful execution of projects among various teams at Wood VDN (Vibration, Dynamics and Noise) group.   This is an opportunity to work in a global organization with an industry-leading position based on its niche range of services, and to be involved in projects both locally and around the world.  A dynamic individual, who is entrepreneurial and innovative, will thrive in this environment   Key Responsibilities:  - Review proposals for accuracy and assist with developing new proposals for clients - Review contracts prior to project award - Provide commercial and administrative support to the operations team for all contracts and service agreements from award until completion including contract close-out activities - Manage and file contractual documents - Check timesheets for contract conformance (rates,backup) - Review contractor invoices and progress payment certificates with cost control - Review and monitor contractor costs, forecasts and requests for changes - Assist with the scheduling activities for the various teams - Assist with identifying potential contract changes and claims and their timely resolution - Develop and maintaincommunication channels with client, stakeholders and internal Wood personnel to ensure that work flows smoothly - Run reports on a periodic basis to analyze business performance according to key metrics and provide updates to senior management - Support our Business Development team with client engagement activities
